GREAT SHOWS TO BINGE-WATCH ON NETFLIX

Anyone who knows me really well knows my love for TV shows. I've never been a reader (even though I'd love to have been one), as I would much prefer to watch the movie/tv show version. I have a few go-to shows that I absolutely adored binge-watching to on Netflix and thought it a great idea to share these with you all.

GILMORE GIRLS:

This show is an obsession of mine. I adored it as a teenager and I adore it even more now. I hadn't watched the show until Netflix did their re-make of it 'Gilmore Girls: A Year In the Life' - with all the original actors may I add! #winning. After watching the remake (whilst crying throughout) I love how quirkly and hilarious the show was,  and I knew then that I had to watch the entire show from the beginning again. So after watching all SEVEN seasons again, I can honestly say that this show will not fail to deliver. 'Gilmore Girls' is centred around the relationship between a single mother and her daughter in a small Connecticut town - it's so sooo good!

THE GOOD WIFE:

This show is a great inspiration for women who want to be more independent and kick ass in life. It tells the story of Alicia Florrick, a housewife and stay at home mum, who has to step up and be the breadwinner after her husband, a Chicago District Attorney is sent to prison by going back to work as a lawyer after a decade away. We get to witness her journey from being a fragile housewife, to a respected lawyer who doesn't back down and knows how to hold her own. What I love about this show, besides Alicia's storyline, is that it gives you inspiration and is extremely informative when it comes to legal statures. Each episode varies and it taught me so much about the American legal system e.g. fifth amendment rights , legal loop holes etc (not that I'll ever need them obvs).

The show in it's final season actually stars Jeffery Dean Morgan - 'Neegan' from The Walking Dead', so that's an exciting character to see before the show concludes. 'The Good Wife' is gripping drama and everything in it is fresh, imminently watchable, and instantly turns it into entertainment gold, as soon as you press play on the first season.

SONS OF ANARCHY:

It's an amazing tv show about a bikers club, who run guns. It tells the story of Jackson "Jax" Teller , a member of the brotherhood, who finds his own loyalty to the group tested when he experiences its increasing anarchy and dishonour, while at the same time adjusting to life as a father. However complicating matters are Jax's mother and stepfather, two merciless individuals who happen to be the architects behind the club.
AMERICAN ODYSSEY:

This show got cancelled after the first season, eve though I don't understand why. Don't let this fact have an influence over you watching it because it's good - it's so so good. The show centres around Sargent. Odelle Ballard, a female army member on a mission with her special-ops task force when she stumbles across encrypted files proving a major American corporation, is covertly financing terrorist groups. After copying the files onto a flash drive, her unit is attacked by U.S. Special Forces, with Ballard the only survivor, and she quickly finds herself fighting for their life in a foreign country.
