WHAT REALLY HAPPENS ON BLOG SHOOTS.

CAMEL COAT | LASULA

Blog photos always looks so glamourous. I have certain bloggers that I follow purely because of the visuals in their photos, of which include: Angelica Blick,  Monikh Dale &  Sarah Ashcroft (their photos are * heart eyes emoji*)

THE WEATHER.
I always wake up on shoot day hoping for the weather to be kind to me. If the weather is sh*t, then the shoot is going to go downhill from there. I've had experiences in the past where I've driven to a shoot location and then it start raining right before I even get the chance to get out of the car and have had to just go back home after spending hours perfecting my highlight and contour to look bomb in my photos.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION.
The best locations for shooting tend to be the places with multiple places to shoot in (if that makes any sense). So in essence a really picturesque location where every building looks slightly different yet photobomb worthy. The reason for this is because most times that I go out to shoot a look I tend to shoot multiple looks in one session - enter the multiple locations.  You may have noticed that most of my looks as of late have been on the roof top of a car park, so it's not really applicable at present, simply because of the ease of shooting on the roof top, because it's deserted and the lighting in incredible for the shots. Although if I were to shoot on the street, then the latter is the strategy for me.

TAKE EVERYTHING WITH YOU.
I literally have to take everything with me on shoots, I normally carry a big bag and keep everything in my car, so that I don't need to go back home to get anything and will be able to fit on shoot session. Does anyone else do this?

EXPECT AN AUDIENCE.
From the uploaded photos above you will have noticed that I had a location change mid-shoot. This was because a group of teenagers decided to make my shoot location their hangout location and I had to move onto another location. This happens often on shoots and because the show must go on I tend to move to another location if I am unable to complete the shoot.
