HOW TO STYLE A FLORAL DRESS - PART ONE

FLORAL MAXI DRESS c/o ROMWE
ANKLE STRAP SANDALS | BERSHKA [SIMILAR]
ROSE GOLD WATCH | NIXON

Besides the garden outside your house and in your vases, you can all safely say that you've been seeing pretty-hued flowers everywhere this season. With that being said, I couldn't wait to get a floral number delivered through the post. I know, I know 'Florals? For spring? Ground breaking.' anyone else remember this killer line from The Devil Wears Prada?  Miranda Priestley's catty remark may have been sassy/sarcastic af, but it was accurate af too.

I love this trend so much that I had to get on trend. Enter my Romwe Floral Maxi, a new love and literal perfection in a clothing item.  Romwe really knocked it out of the park with this dress, I really couldn’t be happier with the fit and quality (for the price: £13.60!)

There are cutoff bit at the midriff which I think is really chic and unique. It allows you to show off a little skin, but not too much. The best thing about this dress definitely has to be the quality of the material, the fabric looks super premium and the main upside is that the dress is not see-through. I find it difficult to comprehend why a lot of women's clothing retailers these days seem to be selling skirts and dresses that are slightly see-through, I mean what kind of women do they tailor them towards? Certainly not the average woman...

I added my black ankle strap heels to make the look more edgy. I love the dress just the way it is (Oi oi Bruno Mars) and didn't want to over accessorise it which is why I styled it with a simple watch, and simply let the dress stun on it's own.  This is perfect for a summer party, walking down the beach on holiday or to a meal with friends and I can't wait to wear it all summer long.

Stay tuned for Part II of 'How To Wear A Floral Dress' edition coming to DW soon...
