Thigh highs, the never-ending loves of my life. I pretty much think that I wanted my first pair after watching Julia Roberts strut her stuff down Sunset Boulevard in Pretty Woman. This of course is a more chic'er version of this, I  mean for one, I am by no means thinking about way taking on her profession.

I love wearing thigh highs because I consider them to be the ultimate confidence boosters. You have to be confident if you wear these, and should fully expect people will stare at you as you walk down the street ... because they will. Isn't that the true meaning of fashion though? To break barriers, be yourself, challenge yourself and turn heads...  I used to care about people staring at me when I wore my boots, not because I thought that I looked bad, but I guess principally because my personal style didn't integrate with theirs. I live in the West Midlands for one, which is hardly the fashion county, so no wonder why this circumstance occured. In time I began to realise that the only person whose option I should care about is myself and to always do what makes ME happy. I also began to realise that my love for fashion and wearing pieces that challenged me should not be boxed up, alternatively no matter the circumstance I shouldn't limit myself style-wise!

I'm legit obsessed with these. Kurt Geiger are absolutely nailing it with these thigh highs and the fact that these are budget friendly, thanks to the lovelies at the Kurt Geiger outlet Shoeaholics  (check out their site for 51% off these boots!) is an absolute bonus.  I adore my thigh highs and was drawn to the fact that I can tie the boots up at the knees thanks to the laceup's on the back,  so that the boots are always secure on my legs. I have another pair of knee high's for another brand  and they do not have this feature and tend to fall down all the time, which is so annoying.
I styled the boots with my Missguided shift dress, which is a great pairing because it's not too tight, beause I don't think this look would suit a tight fitting dress,  and even if you can't find the exact dress that I wore, then any shift dress will work just fine. I went with simple accessories for this. The simplicity came in the form of my gold watch and Kurt Geiger Micro Croc Bag. They are both extremely chic and elegant, afterall ...
