This look has just made a comeback. For those of you who have been following my blog for a while, you will recognise this look from one of the very first posts on DW. This was part of a post  that I deleted because I wasn't too happy with the photo quality. The images were from the days that I used to use my iPhone 4s to take my blog photos, I just had a major blog posts clearout of my pre Sony A5000 photos in an effort to tidy up DW...

It really is important as a blogger to try  have high quality and jaw breaking photography, I don't know about you, but this is vital and extremely persuasive factor for me when I decide to follow a blog. Image quality is something that I continuously try to work on and I don't think that my blog is quiet there yet, but if I have anything to do with it... it will be one day. I guess the holy grail of bloggers with high quality photography would have to bloggers like Angelica Blick (her blog is a bloggers bible and she always delivers nothing short of perfection!) and Samantha Maria, whose fiance is her photographer and they create magic everytime they shoot a look together.  Obviously, these two are some of the bloggers on my radar, but if you know of anymore that I should be aware of, please let me know as I live for discoveries like this - thanking you in advance! Let's not forget to mention the fact that they travel all the time, so have national landmarks as their post backgrounds and cameras that are worth well over £1,000. This does not mean that you need to put yourself in debt just to reach that premium photography level, you just need a good quality camera and the Sony A5000 might be the way forward, it doesn't break the bank & is a great camera for any blogger who wants to step up their photography game. I knew this when I first was it being using by bloggers like Natasha from Bisous Natasha and Tasha Green that it was the IT camera to have.
Before I got my Sony A5000 I did tons of research for a few months and although I looked into other cameras I always ended up looking into this camera. The main reasons that led to my purchase included:
  • Wireless sharing straight to my phone - this meant that I could easily and quickly take a photo, transfer it to my phone straight away and upload it on Instagram.
  • Interchangeable Lens Camera - The A5000 is an Interchangeable Lens camera and comes with the 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 lens when you purchase it, the lens is good BUT I didn't think this provided me with the quality that I wanted, so I upgraded and got the 50mm f/1.8 lens instead.  The 50mm lens is  is a really lovely lens. It offers crisp and high quality photo quality and lets not forget the blurry background effect that comes with it, that all bloggers love!
  • Size matters after all - I initially wanted a DSLR camera, but it seemed too big to carry around in my handbag and the size of the A5000 made it exceptionally appealing as it was named the worlds smallest & interchangeabe lens camera in 2014. In addition to this being, advertised as a mini DSLR so I would get most of the capabilities in a smaller package.
  • SELFIES - The camera is perfect for taking a good selfie as it has the 180 degree flip screen that allows you see yourself as you snap away and will make you a pro in no time!
  • 1080 HD Video Recording Resolution - enough said, you get the gist...
I've tried to keep the specification stuff brief, so that I don't bore you too much. I thought it best to make you aware that I am by no means an expert with photography, I would actually catagorise myself as a beginner, but the little I know I've shared with you.  The main thing to remember if you're trying to upgrade the image quality on your blog is that it's not about the camera, it's the lens quality that matters if anything!
