Bohemian and Hippie influences are massive this summer, and it might has something to do with The Coachella Festival recently being on, or not ... I'm not sure what it is but I'm loving it! One of the prominent Boho items that have hit the stylesphere would have to be the Off The Should Top, it's just so amazing to have the freedom to bare your shoulders this summer, whilst maintaining an uber chic and classy look.

I'm going away on holiday in a few months time and couldn't be happier to add this to one of my outfits as I bask in the sun.  The material is extremely light and airy shaped, it's perfect for keeping cool in the hottest of summer days. You can't go wrong with off the shoulder tops (at home or on vacay).Off the shoulder tops are great because they are ever so flattering on every body shape. If you're a little thicker, then the emphasised neckline and shoulders will provide the illusion of a slimmer figure and alternatively,  if you have bigger boobs, then the neckline and bare shoulders will draw attention to them instead. It's like a one stop shop for all things associated with body flattery!

The bottoms - I paired the top with an old favourite... ripped jeans, they are a match made in heaven for this top. The jeans are from LaSula Boutique and I have been wearing their jeans a lot lately, mainly because they are simply the best (thank you for the convenient pun Tina Turner!). I am 5.4 in height and it is seriously difficult to find a good pair of jeans that fit my petite frame and LaSula have been the ones who seem to have jeans that are just right for my figure, their jeans are like the denim version of the little black dress... If of course you don't think that jeans would suit the look that you are going for, as they may be too casual and you wanted something for an evening out then the alternative option of styling off the shoulders with a mini skirt or some leather shorts would also be a wise choice.  The only thing that I wouldn't really suggest would be to pair this already loose top with something that is also loose, as it can easily look unflattering.

The accessories - The choker adds a touch of elegance to this to the traditional summer outfit. If you're not a fan of the chocker, then it's perfectly fine to style this look without one too, maybe opt for a simply necklace instead? For me, the nineties are currently a big deal trend wise and there is no stronger fashion statement out there than pairing the choker and over an off the shoulder top.  The bag you may recognise from my previous post on DeansWolves, it's from Shoeaholics an outlet for Kurt Geiger, who are my favourite little secret. I think the love for the outlet retailer might have something to do with the up to 70% discount you can get on their bags and shoes, but who knows... The bag is so structured and it's size is perfect for an airy look like this. I wouldn't recommend a massive bag because it takes away the lightweight feel away from the look, a Micro is all you'll need.

The footwear - Lastly are my shoes, I wore my beloved barely there's; I highly recommend them to anyone. If you're looking for affordable and great quality heels, then these are a must have purchase - plus they're super comfy! The shoes aren't too essential with this look, and most shoes that you wear them with (depending on your current favourites) will suit the look just fine. I personally prefer wearing heels because they elongate your legs,  there's nothing wrong with having legs for days honey!
