//Black Over The Knee Block Heel Boots - New Look *//
//Black Suedettte A Line Skirt - New Look *//
//Black Double Breasted Sleeveless Jacket - New Look *//

This look is everything that I would like an ultimate autumn outfit to look like.  It was all achievable thanks to the wonderful high street retailer New Look. They have this insanely awesome Grunge trend featured on their site and I jumped at the chance to pick a few pieces from it.

To start off with, let’s talk about this lovely suede skirt. I’ve always wanted to add one to my wardrobe since spotting the trend on some of my favourite bloggers & magazines. It’s part of the 70’s trend that we have been seeing all summer long and I think that it works really well with autumn styling. I am not one of those people who has purely summer clothes and purely winter clothes, I like to wear all my clothes all year long, which is why I tend to buy staple pieces that can be worn no matter what the season. This is exactly what this skirt is, a classic all year rounder.

Sometimes I find myself being drawn to only Ankle Boots and Chelsea Boots and never imagined going beyond my norm and adding to my wardrobe a good pair of simple, elegant and fashion forward Over The Knee Boots. How incredible are these boots?! Knee high boots overwhelmingly ooze A/W15 vibes to me right now and they literally go with absolutely EVERY outfit that I wear. I honestly couldn't think of an outfit that these heels wouldn't go with, whether it be a dress, jeans or a skirt - you really can’t go wrong with these!

I decided to pair these amazing boots with this absolute stunner of a Sleeveless Jacket. Although we all have been seeing sleeveless jackets a lot on Instagram on a million posts lately, we definitely haven’t been seeing many double breasted design detailing jackets like this one, this jacket, with ease elevates any outfit to look like no other.  It’s also the perfect cover-up for this transitional period and is a classic coat at an incredibly reasonable price.  I’d suggest wearing the jacket with a sleeveless top like I did in this post or a simple tee and pssst … it’s probably best to get this in a larger size for a baggier look, as it looks way better a little oversized, that’ll add an elevating dynamic to any simple silhouette – thank me later.

  1. I love those boots! New Look is a great site. i'll have to check it out again. love your blog.
